New Challenges, New Skills: We Are Getting Ready for the Future
At Prácticos y MarÃtima PRACYMAR, we have been committed to excellence in our maritime operations for over 30 years. Throughout these decades, we have evolved alongside changes in the industry, but the arrival of Puerto Antioquia represents a particularly significant challenge—a project that marks a before and after in the port history of the region… and in ours as well.
This new scenario not only represents an opportunity for growth, but also drives, motivates, and challenges us to prepare for responsibilities that, until now, were not part of our usual duties. One of these is vessel mooring, a key activity in port operations that, starting this year, will become part of our services.
To take this step, two of our team members, Jimmy Mosquera and Mairon Hoyos, have been the first to embrace the challenge of training as mooring specialists. Both joined PRACYMAR a year ago, and thanks to their commitment, responsibility, and excellent performance, they are now pioneers in this new chapter for the company.
Their training process was recently carried out in Buenaventura, supported by a partner company that provided the knowledge and experience needed to confidently begin this task. This alliance highlights the value of collaboration in the maritime sector and reaffirms our commitment to the continuous training of our team.
Jimmy and Mairon are examples of perseverance and dedication, and we are deeply proud to have people like them, who take on challenges with enthusiasm and professionalism.
This is just the first of many stories we will begin to write with Puerto Antioquia as a new stage. At PRACYMAR, we are ready to grow, learn, and navigate toward the future.
